VAT Changes Effective from 1st January 2014
We would like to inform our valued customers that, starting from the 1st of January 2014, we will be applying UK VAT at a rate of 20% to all our orders. This change comes as a result of our recent registration for VAT with the United Kingdom tax office.
VAT Registration and Application
Due to our growth and increased turnover, we are now required by law to register for VAT. Although we are currently awaiting the issuance of our official VAT number, we have been instructed by the tax authorities that we must begin applying VAT to our orders from our registration date, which is the 1st of January 2014.
Impact on Orders
- Orders Within the UK and EU: Starting from the 1st of January 2014, all orders placed within the UK and EU will include an additional 20% VAT. This change ensures compliance with UK tax regulations and helps maintain the transparency and legality of our business operations.
- Orders Outside the EU: For our international customers located outside the EU, VAT will not be charged. The 20% VAT will be deducted from the order totals for these customers, making our products more affordable for our global clientele.
Updates to Invoicing System
Once we receive our official VAT number, we will promptly update our invoicing system to include this information on all relevant documents. This will ensure that our invoices comply with tax regulations and provide all necessary details for our customers’ records.
